Hamburg is situated on the Eastern Cape Coast on the banks of the Keiskamma River. This is a laid back rural coastal village. The fishing is excellent.

The Keiskamma river is home to flamingos, pelicans and other aquatic birds. Many fish are caught in the river mouth. One can still purchase mussels, crabs and fish from the local fishermen, or enjoy a simple meal at Do Regos. 

It is on the edge of the lagoon. Nothing is pretentious about this restaurant, but the food is great!
